Manufactured by Tbonz, this complete pre-assembled kit of 4 Constant Velocity Drive Shafts is one of the best upgrades you can make for taking your HPI Savage to the next level.

All pro grade vehicles these days come stock with CVD's because the manufacturers know how much friction takes place on the axle and drive hub. In fact, if you have owned your HPI Savage for a while now, you'll notice the wear marks on the axle hubs already. You ca see where the pins on the stock dog bones have worn a curve right into the hub.

CVD's eliminate friction because of it's unique design. The axle has a cup, which is round, thus fitting into another cup which is also round. A small pin passes through each cup, reducing any play whatsoever. A set screw retains the pin.

These CVD's exceed in quality compared to others we've seen on Savage's because of the awesome included silicon boot which will capture any thrown pin should that ever occur. (Check the set screw often when performing routine maintenance to your RC truck) It also keeps dirt and grit out of your new CVD's.
